Income inequality

Here is a link to some research indicating that income gains have not been spread out equally in society.

1.6% population in prision, and 1990 to 2010 there has been a 22.9% population increase in the past 20 years. Roughly 25% of the population has changed and with it our institutions are going down the drain....

There is inequality there is lack of skilled workers moving into the country, new born children from the new baby boomer generation, over crowded prison systems, and the "25% that think they know what America and freedom is" straining the system.
In my opinion, we have inequality in the U.S it's racial, cultural discrimination, and on top of that agricultural "incrimination". Seriously most people laugh at simple things like this but it's illegal to own chickens at many of your home in california. That is not free markets, that cuts down the very basic theory of trade AKA Jobs for todays standards. This creates the inequalities that we have today. Millions of people can raise chickens but only a select few can be your WWE superstar or your Paris Hilton. These are the institutions of inequality. no wonder people are starving....

Anywas looking at income, if we are rational minded people then under the theory of utility, "people will work to the point of their satisfaction." And thats the best thing we can hope for in a free society.:)
